i think so too, but that's because men and women are not equal (neither is better though). the issue though is the whole thing about feminists pushing to be equal but really picking and choosing the laws that benefit women.

Sure there's a difference, I'm just sure if it's a difference that justifies such disparate punishment. Hell, if anything, it could be argued that these "child prostitutes" were just as, if not more, consenting. They were more than willing to bang older dudes for money.

So again, I'm not saying we shouldn't give girls more protection, but I just don't think what Jared is really that much worse. It's all sleazy and disgusting, but it's not like he was kidnapping and forcibly raping these girls.

well i don't think there's an argument about the former. generally speaking, women are much physically weaker than been. i don't think the same is true for the "emotional maturity" of 15 year boys relative to 15 year old girls.

I don't think there's really any reason to delve into that cesspool. It sounds like he was making hidden recordings, had stuff with really young kids, etc. He's a disgusting creep.

I don't think so. There are several states, including Kansas, where 16 is the legal age of consent, and you still have to be 18 to produce porn.

No Constitutional expert, but sentencing a man supremely more severely than a woman for essentially the same crime would appear to be a violation of this here clause...
