I think it's funny that some people act like if he would have been throwing up gang signs all by himself at the end of the bench, then everyone would have loved him. EVERYONE was not giving him grief.  Tebow had way more supporters than detractors.  He just wasn't a good NFL QB and got way more press than he should have.  I blame ESPN.  I also blame ESPN for SEC bias, high ticket prices, the absence of the mid-range jump shot and global warming.

Don't know of any "Christians" in the last couple of generations in this country that were dragged behind a car for their beliefs.  The Tebow/Sam - Gay/Christian equation is a poor comparison.
