That's cool, but insurance has never cost this much in my lifetime. It would be nice to take advantage of this climb up the latter, without getting taxed out the ass.

Yes, that is disheartening. I don't think any reduction in taxes will put much of a dent in the cost of healthcare.

Why is your insurance so expensive? I paid 40 a week at Target and had a badass plan. Paid for 90% of my rehab trip. That's about 13k dollars.

They probably only pay the minimum which is like 60% I think

I would guess about everyone in this thread has had the $250-$1000 deductible ppo replaced with some trash $2500-7500 hmo, and was told by a libtard that they aren't paying more for coverage.

eff you, libtards. you psychpathic ass wipes. Nobody gives a eff if your unemployed asses has to go to a filthy disgusting clinic for healthcare. We nonlibtards actually do deserve better. We also don't live in a fantasy where universal medicaid wouldn't crash the system in like 4 hours.

That's $80 biweekly. It use to be $40-50 a paycheck (bi weekly for me). Every company has a better plan, but many can't afford it anymore (smaller corporate companies). Target is an exception. I have anxiety issues I can't address until I hit a 5K deductible. Shoot me!

And I opted for the premium plan. Medical bills have wrecked me in the past and didn't want to run the risk of it happening again.

Honestly, the new meds have helped, but I've played this game enough to know that my next presentation in 3 months will cause new issues. I'll probably address it in a month

I also agree that I didn't give a crap about this stuff until I got married. Another reason why I feel Phil is out of his Elamite on this issue.

Don't put it off man. Go as often as you can afford to. You're worth it.

Because you're a single guy who lives on his own and makes good $. The new health care plan hasn't effected you yet. It's families who are getting bombed with these rates.

Also, I feel ya sdk. i'm on top of this. Will see someone soon.

Trump assumed being president would be easy, it's not good to assume.

So you've taken my opinions and thrown them away assuming you know my situation and that it's different than yours so I just don't get it? Not the best way to talk issues but whatevs.

Even if your assumptions were true to say health care hasn't affected me or the ones I'm close to is hugely inaccurate.

To be fair, your opinion was milk costs more these days, prices go up, etc. "no big deal, ho hum". I don't think that's the right attitude, to just deal with it, but that's just my opinion I guess.

I've stated more than once that Obamacare needs tweaks. I've asked numerous times what benefits the current bill adds vs current Obamacare and get nothing back.

The argument that insurance costs more than ever isn't a very compelling one to me....not because I am or am not filthy rich.
