I'm working on a tinder type app for this where you go through a list of posters and swipe whatever way to indicate yes or no in regards to mentoring one another if they come by and swipe you yes and you swipe them yes too it matches you guys up! Seeking investors.

I want to teach a young poster how to post really awful things after a tragedy and how to handle Saul when he requests that you delete said post. It's really an intense course.

Oh man. I feel like I could take to that like a Russian missile to a Malaysian airliner!

i don't have what it takes to be a mentor.

but i'm a prime candidate to be a mentee.

I feel like this is a test so in no way am I admitting I need a mentor, but if I did need one I'd totally pick Tobias.

I feel like you need an ATX mentor.

First lesson: don't live in South Austin, unless you live in the 78704.

I'd like to apply for a mentor. I feel I've lost whatever edge I may have once had.

Pete
Feels good, can't wait to take my game to the next level. Glad to have one of the top gE mods as my mentor.

OK, 8Man, we obviously don't need to air all our dirty laundry in THIS thread, but you can get started by setting some goals for yourself for the upcoming football season.

Ask yourself "what kind of poster do I want to be?"  Really challenge yourself.   Then, establish action items that will help you reach your goals, and focus on those action items.

It's also important to find a role model.  You can use them as a framework for evaluating your actions...the "what would so and so do" philosophy.  However, choosing the wrong role model can be counter productive, and lead to actions that are not furthering your quest to reach your goals.

For example, I once chose Leland of GPC fame as a role model, because I thought as an elite GPC poster that it would be wise.  Turns out, all I ended up doing was frequently masturbating in front of a mirror with a LHC Bill Snyder mask on.  Not a complete waste of time, but was it truly time well spent?  Probably not, and I can admit that now.  Cautionary tale, 8man.

I think I should be a mentee.  I feel like my posting skills are around a D+ and I need some guidance to bring up my game to at least a C+.  I want to be barely above the average posters, but below the good ones.  I know where I stand on the bell curve and I just want to move up a standard deviation or so.
