I was just thinking, fast forward 100 years, and what will our grandkids think about today's society. Think about the judgement we might face. Impossible to predict that far out, but I had some predictions.
1) terrible students of history. Why didn't we learn from the 20th century?
2) incredibly rude. Like kids who prank call everyone, immature and unable to be responsible enough with anonymous online communication
3) gullible, when it comes to our governments. We are getting raped, and can't wake up to it.
4) drunks. Good chance ethanol goes the way of nicotine
5) perverts / sexually selfish. There is a good chance world populations begin to shrink in 50 years. Fertility and being fruitful could potentially become a huge virtue. Sexual orientations not geared towards kids might be the new major faux pas that gets your statue torn down.
Any other ideas? Things that are either valued or tolerated now that will be looked down on in the future?
