My grandma informed me today on our call that the Chiefs are going to "fire" Butker and replace him with a woman.

You should make a wager with her.  She sounds like a mark

I tried

She had me place a $20 bet on the Chiefs to beat the 49ers in the Super Bowl. I asked her if she wanted to make another bet on whether or not he'd be the Chiefs kicker when the season started. She smartly didn't take the bet. She also already used her winnings to purchase a crockpot so that could have weighed on her decision not to take the bet.

LL must be so proud

Bill Self probably hates him now, too

The MAGA takeover of our government is further along than I had thought.

Snake bite videos.

I'm watching Dark Matter, which is a new Apple TV show. The story is interesting but the cast worries me. They're somewhat notable but I haven't been a fan of previous stuff that the lead has been in.

If AMC goes bankrupt will movie theaters soon go the way of the drive-in? Should I go see more movies in the theater?

Once upon a time

"The idea that we would cut off military aid to an ally, our only true, true ally in the entire region, is absolutely preposterous. It's just beyond my comprehension anyone would do that.”

I think it is evidence that the protests have moved the admin.
Indisputable

Bibi's government deserves some credit, too.

What do you mean "the nations are gathering"?

Across the globe, sentiment towards the state of Israel (and unfortunately for many Jewish people in general) is turning sour.

Is that second part true? I mean admittedly I have not attended any of these protests so I can only go off what people are reporting, but as I’m understanding it the protesters absolutely recognize the distinction between Jew and the state of Israel.

An also that many Jews are condemning the actions of Israel and standing in solidarity with protesters. I’ve seen some videos of, let’s call them a lazy attempt at agent-provokateurs, like a woman wearing a plain white shirt with the word JEW written on it in big blue letters and her husband filming and you can tell they have every expectation that they are going to be assaulted but none of the protesters pay them any mind and in fact the husband had to keep repositioning himself so that you couldn’t see all the signs in the background welcoming Jews to join in the protest or posters that basically said “Jews against the atrocities happening in Palestine”

And of course that pair came away hoping to be victims of a vicious word beating but they just kind of looked like idiots

Anyway all that to say it seems like the world can and is making the distinction between Jews and zionists

Not sure if sarcasm but this is definitely not true. At least in my experience, I heard a chant that elicited “from the river to the sea” and at least one sign of the same.

This year I have started doing a ton of stretches in my office during the day. I'm currently shopping for a yoga mat now that it's getting nice outside. I started stretching due to knee pain but I've expanded my stretching routine to try to address back pain and tight hips, too.

A lot of stretching vids started appearing in my IG feed after I clicked on a few and I've found some good ones that I've incorporated into my stretches.

Teaching a leadership course and using really old analogies that no one will understand but me

Yes! I would use all of the expressions that crusty ass, old teachers used in class that made my eyes roll. Take that you stupid youngsters!

John Wooden used to say... What's that? You don't know who John Wooden is? You idiot kids.

Legit question, anyone ask him why he was there? Just felt like taking in a Booze Cat game vs the hawks?

I'm guessing because he's a baseball fan and his brother and sister-in-law are EMAW.

Here's how MAGA gets ya. They don't let you reference the FBI, Bureau of Economic Analysis or Bureau of Labor Statistics in arguments.

I think uniparty is a relatively new term and I've been fascinated by it for the past week or so. I assumed it meant something along the lines of the RINO's and Democrats being a part of some secret cabal that runs the government without any care or input from citizens. I was close.

Here Rep Bob Good explains what the uniparty is.

Quote
“The uniparty is when the rubber meets the road and Republicans and Democrats join hands to stick it to the American people,” Good told NBC News. He added that “unfortunately, too many Republicans are all too eager” to compromise with Democrats.

Bipartisanship bad. Partisanship good.

I have to eat 3 tins of popcorn in a week before they lose their freshness. I'm 2 down.
Who the eff has 3 tins of popcorn to eat in April?

I bought them to gift people but then my plans changed and I was unable to do so. Fortunately, I was able to unload the third one on someone else.

Does Salvy have 72 more career homers left in him? Would like to see him be the record holder for career HR's for the franchise.

Not likely on his current contract.

Y'all would know better than me, so how did he make his money, such that he can afford to travel everywhere?

I know he used to sell office supplies. I think there is a story of him sleeping in his truck for a game in Ames that was freezing so the cost of travel for him used to be just gas, tickets and food. I like to think he would get a room these days.

Looks like college students all across the country are about to get mumped up. I think this is a mistake that could have been handled better.
