Tom, outstanding. If you are open to some notes, I would say you don't have to settle for the english muffin. like yeah, i know, you obviously would have put that badboy betwixt two flavor pillows (ciabatta) and you were out of ciabatta but everything else was already prepped so it was like "okay guess we gotta thaw these english muffins at the bottom of the freezer that have probably been there for like 8 years"

and in a pinch, that's fine! but i know you're capable of doing great things, tom. no self limitations.
Thaw your English muffins? Wtf, step your breakfast bread game up, brother

It's the Khan Toke Yai. The larger of their Lanna Small Plate samplers. Our server was impressed that the three of us took it down.

@waks and I smashed waldo thai with a little help from mrs mocat

This is what Mrs. Stevesie and I had for our anniversary dinner. That crap is delicious. Maybe it will be our anniversary tradition! I'll let you know!
What was the best?

The Sai Ua (9 o'clock), Laab Moo Kua (2 o'clock), and Gaeng Hung Lei (6 o'clock) were the standouts for me.

how was it?
It was quite good. I was a bit taken aback by it falling apart and had to fork it on the last third. Still a great dining experience and paired wonderfully with my watermelon agua fresca. Have you had anything else on the menu? It all looked great.

I had not been in probably 2 years and I left asking myself why it had been so long.
I got carry out from the one on metcalf sunday before last and wondered why I didn’t just go to longhorn
I’ve only ever gotten prime rib with a baked potato

You're making a mistake sleeping on that Cowboy Ribeye (admittedly I have not had this in years)

I have to eat 3 tins of popcorn in a week before they lose their freshness. I'm 2 down.
Who the eff has 3 tins of popcorn to eat in April?

Played nine holes of golf yesterday and my back started killing me about hole 7. Same thing happened about halfway through playing tennis a week ago. I've had back pain since high school but this was pretty severe. I have been lifting a lot recently and think that might be the cause. Is this just a part of getting old? Is it even worth it?  :frown: Played tennis tonight and didn't have an issue but played doubles so a lot less running. Dunno. I never take painkillers of any kind but Ibuprofen may be in my future.

AI needs to post in the drawing a powercat by hand thread

The best post in the powercat by hand thread will be posted in August of this year.

This post only makes sense to 3 other posters, but I'm putting it here so I can bump it then.

also, ponaks was the very first establishment to put boulevard beer on tap.  it was and still is, their pale ale.

Pale ale isn't an IPA but yeah they were first
lol what does this even mean?

Being anti-breakfast 'reet is one of the worst takes I've ever seen on this board.

Have you met Kat Kid? He only enjoys McDonald's breakfast 'reets.
Dude is a known food n00b. I heard he only eats the tripleta from Subway when he visits PR.

I'm sure this will play out like all the geniuses on this board said about Russia and Ukraine.  Pretty sure dugout and SD said that war between those two would be fleeting. Ukraine would mop the floor with 'old' Russia.  I'd love to hear the analysis on this one..

Maga/russia/iran triad is big mad today that our leftovers win again.  Sucks to suck (yet again).

Focused on the fact it was state of the art missiles designed in the United States and platforms such as the most expensive weapons system in world history defeating some propeller driven drones and low end ballistic missiles.

While completely ignoring that Pedo Pete and Blinks have helped drive the world closer to World War III then ever before.

Wait, which one is Pedo Pete?

This half is a bit of an indictment against our coaching staff. They keep trying to force the ball into players who aren't open. No adjustments

That sums up Mittie's entire career... he will not have a better team than this year and we couldn't even make it to the 2nd weekend.
Deb Patterson 2.0. Why didn't Maupin see more minutes?

So MBC just went full AOL and licensed their name?
Wtf are you talking about?

It sounds like Manhattan Brewing Company sold a different company the right to use its name. AOL did the same thing, but in a different industry. You might not have known that AOL is still around, but in name only.
I think you are confusing MBC with Tallgrass. But it was more than just Tallgrass's name. They are brewing (or attempting to) the same beers that Tallgrass brewed.

Does that strength coach even lift bro?

Could this team be any more endearing?

I imagine K-State media team will release something about it but the women's team helped officiate/score/coach the Special Olympics state basketball tournament on Saturday. Just when you thought they couldn't get more likable.

Also when they changed from pott co water to riley co water changed some of the beer tastes IMO for Tallgrass
All new brewing equipment too. The brewers I know would tell you it all makes a difference  :dunno:
