Three weeks ago I felt that familiar pain at that special place where your calf attaches to your heel. Was seriously concerned I'd have to back out of the marathon coming up in 4 weeks.
Two weeks of significantly reduced and slower miles, mostly on the treadmill. And eccentric calf raises several times a day. Did 12 miles with no pain last week, then 18 this morning.
No pain and negative splits. Bonkers sleep tonight after I find a way to consume 5,000 calories.
