Dax, when it comes to this specific topic, you are doing a great job of either looking like a coward with no conviction or looking like Stephen Miller and I am not sure if that is your intent. Please clarify.Dem POTUS’ singed into law expedited removal without a hearing and another deported over 5 million illegal immigrants.
Isn’t there a pretty big difference between deporting by turning away at the border and hired brutes rounding up people and throwing them in paddy wagons?Barry Obama’s ICE ran huge sweeping operations. Some of which have been documented on this blog.
So, you prefer what is happening now as the proper way of handling our immigration issues?
Do you find this sustainable? At what point do we stop having masked unidentified men kidnapping humans? Is there a number? Is there a date? Do we never stop?
How confident are you we could move on from this to a more bureaucratic method if this is so easy, fully funded, and already happening? Do you see someone in power who has the ability to do that?
Dax, you obviously want the immigration issue resolved.
Are you more in favor of:
1. Doing what is being done now
2. Funding existing systems adequately to allow them to manage the level of need they are facing using our long time existing laws
Assume they cost the same. Why do you choose the one you choose?
Well that's what I'm asking you. It sounds like we want to deport somewhere like 5% of the population now given that we're dramatically ratcheting up after historically having been pretty tough on immigration. What changed?
If the US population is estimated at 342 million, 5 million people is about 1.5%. What percentage of the population do you think should be deported today?
Viewers of this blog are reminded once again that #blueanon hero Barry "Deporter in Chief" Obama removed/deported 5 million illegal immigrants. Barry's ICE launched numerous sweeping apprehension and deportation operations including ICE operations that targeted women and children for immediate deportation.
Rank and file #blueanon white folks, including hardcore #blueanon suburban soccer moms clearly supported the entirety of the prolific deportation/removal operations under Barrack "rule of law" Obama aka Barry "you just can't jump over a river" Obama.
If Barry could deport 5 million with a tiny fraction of the budget, why the hell are we spending all this money?
Government statistics show that in the initial processing of millions of encounters, 2.5 million people have been released into the U.S. and 2.8 million have been removed or expelled. But Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida said that, conservatively, “3.3 million people have been released into the country who arrived here illegally.”
We are talking about 2.5 million people during the Biden admin
The bill allocates $45 billion for new immigration detention centers and $29.9 billion for ICE's enforcement and deportation activities, effectively tripling the agency's annual budget.
Dax what are your thoughts on giving ICE a budget larger than most nations spend on their military
The long term investment is already occurring crusty, where the eff have you been?Viewers of this blog should also note that #blueanongE absolutely hates American industry with the power of 10,000 suns.https://x.com/JohnArnoldFndtn/status/1944384568703750608?t=dGAaAgz0ILioE8dmenvcyA&s=19
The recent idiocy about copper tariffs is a perfect example of not only what total dumbasses #blueanon are . . . but hammers home with siren clarity that they hate-hate American companies and American workers.
This applies to so many US industries. No one will invest long term when the future is based on the whims of a moron and his enablers
