I think we can all agree that the Simpsons now sucks.  However, it is foolish to argue that it wasn't a brilliant show once upon a time.  I had amazing writing and it built an entire genre of comedy, but much of that was before many of the posters "time."

Simpson was at it's peak in the early 90's.

Not funny anymore?  Maybe Lenny and Karl.  Or Moe.

But the family isn't funny...

Could be said about South Park, too.  Stale.

Family Guy keeps it fresh, mostly, although it has its moments.

Futurama is really one of the smartest funny cartoons out there... The more I have watched it the better it gets. There is a lot of recurring jokes and items throughout the series too that you don't notice unless you watch them all... and I don't care what anyone else thinks, so there... I defeated you who think differently by not caring. Mua ha ha ha ha...

FG is funny. SP does nothing for me. Nothing.

I think South Park sucks FWIW.

QFT. I never understood why people think it's great.

South Park was funny for three seasons, Family Guy for one.  The South Park movie was great, but they packed it in after that and haven't tried since.

I don't mind when they say it though. It's like a super fast way to let someone know "Hey, don't waste time talking to me."

I will not defend the Simpsons movie though. WTF was that? Very, very sad.

I like Futurama prolly more than SP or FG.  I actually think American Dad has a lot going for it and Roger is one of the better characters on any of them outside of Towelie (maybe)

Simpsons was great show back in the day.  But after like 20 years and many hundreds of episodes......how much more mileage can they really squeeze out of it at this point?

ad is rough ridin' brilliant.  it doesn't have the shock value humor that fg has so it just takes a couple episodes to get into it, imo.

From what I've heard, yes they'll be sticking with the original format of switching between the story line and bashing music videos... I'm really excited for that part, so if they get rid of it then the show will be a waste of time.

"AD" is not brilliant.  It is slightly above mediocre.  The only "AD" that is brilliant is Arrested Development.
