If you Googles or yahoodles KU basketball, you find a rabid fan base going nuts.  It is the opposite for Cat basketball.  I don't understand the apathy given we are preseason ranked nationally 10 to 12.  We are forecasted to be second in big12.  A lock for the tournament.  Wade competing for Big12 POY.

I'm with you.  All in for a run at the conference championship in basketball. 

Same players we had last year with all improved and experienced plus add  "The Worm" aka Austin Trice.  Trice has gained 20 punds this off season and now weighs 240.

First, I wasn't alive in the 50s when K-State basketball was at its best and probably had its 2 or 3 best teams ever.

Second, I thoroughly enjoyed what was probably a Top 5 team all time in 2010 with Jake and the boys.

Third, this season has a chance to be really fun, maybe up there with 2010 when its all done. However, its August, even in our most hopeful seasons there generally isn't a ton of zeal going on. Plus, some will repress any/all zeal because oscar which is their prerogative, but I'm looking forward to some Cat basketball.
