1. KSU - Obvious. titletown. domination in all three major sports.
2. OU - High level football. ranked baseball. medium hoops.
3. OSU - Good football and hoops and decent baseball. strong all around.
4. Baylor - Decent football. Decent basketball. Baseball competitive.
5. Texas - Ended football season on a high note. look strong going into this season. baseball and basketball are garbage but football is really all that matters in major college athletics.

Honorable mention to TCU, having purple as your school color gives you a +1

I'm getting mixed messages from some of these KU fans.  They seem super proud of their streak of 9 conference titles in a single sport (billboards on I-70, etc.), but seem really angry that K-State is celebrating the exceptionally rare feat of three conference titles in the three biggest sports in a single season.

So, are conference titles important or not?  :dunno:

I am being deadly serious when I say this:  I would rather win the Big 12 in football, than go to the final four in basketball.

George Mason went the final four a couple years ago.   Flukes happen in the NCAA tournament....like KU losing to Bucknell, Bradley, or Northern Iowa.  Judging success based upon some flukey tournament is silly...KU fans should be the first to acknowledge that.  They were far better than some of those schools who have knocked them out of the basketball tournament so many times over the years.

Winning the Big 12 in football can never be fluked.  You get an entire season full of winning in top conference in the most important sport in America.  Very, very little can compare to that.

I am so confused as to why KU fans call our football title shared, but their bball title isn't. JFC the same thing happened in both.

100 times yes absolutely always. bowl games are completely unpredictable and basically meaningless other than the natty. and basketball...pfffft...basketball. please. football is and will always be the most important college sport by a long stretch.  1 million times harder to win the big 12 football in round robin format than get to the final 4.

lol so beating maybe 1-2 good teams in football is greater than beating 3-4 great basketball teams to get to the final four? lol ok buddy. the final four is prestigious...winning your fball conference is not unless it's the mighty SEC
