Our runningback's name is Harry Trotter.  So many possibilities with that name.  But is he a burner?  No, probably not.

I’ve got him penciled in at seeker.

He put together a Snyder-esque class months before Snyder did.  I think it gives us the opportunity to go after a few 4* longshots instead of trying to play catch up as recruiting goes on.  I hope recruiting will improve over CK's tenure but think we're in a pretty decent spot prior to him ever putting a team on the field.

Totally fair.  Let's see how it plays out this fall with this recruiting class and then next year.

It would be nice to snag a few 4* guys (or have them get a bump in rating), but otherwise not sure what was expected. It was a legit concern that we would be getting complete nobodies. That's not the case.

Talk about a low bar!

Our commits are mostly puds, but at least we're gobbling them up fast i guess?

This.

Studs or puds.....who knows?  But their rankings are almost identical to what we got under Snyder.

I guess it’s better to get them early, but I’m really not even sure about that either.

As I posted earlier, our current 247 composite ranking is higher than any Snyder class.  Likewise, I think it is logical that getting kids you saw in camp is way better than waiting until Dec-Jan to pick over whatever is left.  Sometimes kids blow up their senior year, but I would guess most P5 players were great as juniors and kicked-butt at college camps.

The ranking is due to quantity, not quality.  Based on the current quality (or, perceived quality by ranking services) of the guys we have, I would expect our ranking to end up pretty much where it was under Snyder once all the recruiting is complete

No, our composite rating (eg weighted average score of each recruit) is 0.8436 higher than any Snyder  class.

Going to the second (or third?) decimal point seems like splitting hairs to me.

Zero chance I go back and compare, but it also seems like the guys we are getting have more, and better quality, offers.

Not really.

A lot of new hire coaches are able to excel in recruiting even without the on-field results.  That isn't happening.  I feel expectations are already starting to get lowered for Klieman.

Kleiman recruiting almost the exact same guys we got with Snyder, except with much more effort and expense.

My expectations are much higher than 7-5.

Snyder went 9-4, 8-5, and 5-7 in his last three years.  And we pushed him out of the program he built.  I'm assuming we wouldn't do that if our aspirations are 7-5.

I am completely shocked that the cute social media campaign hasn't produced a plethora of five-star recruits.  And Kellis said they are playing rap music at practice!  We should be turning away 4-star recruits now, right?

So Wade was seen Saturday night and Sunday afternoon around town, apparently without a boot.

Poster who is Wade’s high school coach posted this morning that he asked Wade’s parents and that his parents didn’t know anything about a new X-ray/broken foot.

Does Kstate have an X-ray machine?  They cost about $100,000.   I guess maybe one that all the sports teams can use?

:runaway:

What does that mean?

I hope we just sit wade and stokes for the big 12.  Easier said than done, but the truth is that nobody will remember what happened in the big 12 tourney.  Everybody will remember what happened in the NCAA.

The league “MVP” went 8-23 for 26 points in the two games he was guarded by Mr. The Flush.

Just saying.

43
he didn't buy his own seat fwiw

So he was gifted tickets as a private person and not a member of the media?

Nate's life is complicated.

44
I tuned into 810 for a minute this morning. Nate and Jake were enraged. P sad

From his Twitter, one would never expect that Nate is the type to buy his own seat front row at Allen and then berate college basketball players from the other team.  It's all soccer and football and wrestlers who have died.  Maybe Nate doesn't care about basketball anymore. :dunno:

I hope oscar wears an all-black suit, because he is going to Self's funeral tonight.

It’s not our floor, dumbass, it’s these broke ass Nike shoes

Yep, because every team that uses Nike shoes has the same foot problems we do.

Nike shoes may be crap, but that's not what is causing our excessive foot injuries.

In other words......we haven’t done crap about this until now.
