Here I am complaining about too much jam banding, and now I'm contemplating going to see NC based Big Something here tonight.

Jason Isbell was at Sloth Fest a month ago or so, I'm sorry I had to miss it.

Man, I forgot about this thread! Been to a few good concerts the past year or so, but the best was our most recent OCMS show in Lexington.

Guy named Charley Crockett opened, and he KILLED it. Bought 2 of his 3 albums after the show.

Old Crow was wonderful, as always, but the seats were the best part. We were pretty close...

What's your thought on the Truman? I've only been once. (would have went to Hippo Campus tonight but sold out). The flat floor is not great for rear views, not sold on the acoustics either.

it's great for edm type stuff. i saw jai wolf there like a year ago and it was fun iirc

I saw The Dollop at the Truman and that was fine.  I agree that it doesn't seem great for a lot of concerts but I like a lot of the bands they bring in.
