I've been meaning to get this going for awhile now...

In this thread, post your REAL pics of EMAW sightings...I enjoy the photoshopping as much as the next rough ridin' nerd, but these are TRUE STORIES OF EMAW!

First, a doozy from the Big 12 Tournament....

While obviously being known for his prowess in the kitchen, Clams is also somewhat of a KC restaurant savant.

Clams, et. al., have you found any place in KC that serves Mexican "Street" style tacos?

Such as this...

This dude has an entire blog dedicated to the Taco....amazing work. http://mytacoblog.blogspot.com/2007_06_01_archive.html

Do we have such wonderful items in KC?

Should have put the last paragraph first, that way I wouldn't have had to read the whole freaking thing before I completely dismissed it.

K-State assistant coach Del Miller  is heading up the Wildcats' recruitment of Blythe, who also names Notre Dame, Missouri, Wisconsin, Kansas and Oregon among the teams from which he has received recruiting interest.

 :flush:

(ppssssssst, you do a great job, keep up the work....'cept reporting on rough ridin' Del Miller recruits...GMAFB.)

Jack Harry, using every arrow in his quiver, just let loose on KU....starts with KU's "BAD" loss to Northern Iowa, suggested that Self would be viewed poorly if 2008 hadn't happened, then goes bonkers on the Federal investigation of the Williams fund ticket scandal, and then just goes ape crap on Lew Perkins' $4.4M salary last year...."Lew can take a leak without getting paid by KU."

Limestone and I will be holding down an axiety ridden table at 103rd and Wornall.   :drink:

Early report: several butch lesbians here think the Cats have this one in the bag. :ksu:

Is there a reasonable argument that counters the notion that, on an aggregate basis, there will be less suffering as a result of health care issue in the future than there is today?  Can anyone really argue that insuring 30+ million souls is not going to improve the human condition for those most in need in this country?

It's cool with me if you don't value that, just don't blow smoke up my skirt with arguments suggesting that this initiative won't help those who are worst off.

I was raised Christian....religious grade school, Sunday school, missed nary a Sunday growing up....Lutheran...pretty conservative group.   Everything I was taught by them seems consistent with trying to help the worst off.  Jesus provided numerous parables where he articulated this.

Also, don't forget that we are the only Western nation that doesn't provide health care for all citizens....of course, we're the only Western nation that has the death penalty.

Point is, dudes, that I really think that if there is a God, we are doing God's will by moving toward providing health care for all our citizens.  I really believe that.

Villanova was completely screwed!

There is NO WAY that St. Mary's should have been a 10 seed.

I have never, NEVER seen such a horrible example of incorrect seeding in my life.  Villanova was SCREWED!

who can stop them? :dunno:

Apparently Self spent half the time in the locker room after the game trying to shame Cole into coming back next year.

The "little terrorist," as he was referred to on Phog.net, drives his metaphorical jumbo jet into the Campanile.

Oh No!

Oh God, NO!

Oh sweet baby Jesus, NO!

NO, NO, NO,  NO!

Two threes already!

In your face Michigan cat!

So, I don't recall Morningstar being included in the "Senior Night" for KU.

Are we going to see the oldest player in the conference be Morningstar two years in a row?

695
If Dalonte was still our AC, it seems like we could benefit from this.   :dunno:

You get any 1 super power that you want, which is it?  Which is the best?

In my opinion, it's teleportation.  No question about it....probably should just lock up this thread now.

698
How much longer am I going to have to wait to watch our region....did I just miss it?

699
Kentucky or KU?

I looks like Duke is a lock now for a 1, and Syracuse is if the committee believes Boeheim's injury reports.

Both UK's are very close to St. Louis, and Syracuse (city) is not remotely close to Kentucky. Kinda a huge deal here, isn't it?  :dunno:

Meanwhile, Texas Cats should be very, very happy today.

810 zone establishment Kietzman has problems to fix...

black guy bartending saturday noon went in waiting for group to finish shopping. Never been there before bartender and a couple others with ku shirts and the rest of workers have 810 shirts on. bartender was an bad person to a mu fan for no reason and then started on me for no reason but I wasn't as polite as the mu fan was. I just told him that as a customer I pay his salary by spending money at 810 and his lack of inteligence was showing and told him good luck cleaning the urinals. When our large group came in to eat in drink we left and will never come back. MU fan should have hit the a$$hole bartender but he was alot more refined than I was.
I will never recommend anyone to go there and actually make a big effort to tell anyone what lousy service they will receive.
Oh by the way the bloody mary was horrible

It's Kietzman's fault!  I kinda feel sorry for Kietz sometimes.  :frown:
