The platform for this thing has gone off the rails for any social moderate/liberal conservatives. Is this a play to placate the religious right?

bible in public schools "indispensable for the development of an educated citizenry"

People that don't believe in the Judeo Christian God take issue with it.

I think moderate people look at God-given and natural as basically saying the same thing. However, some people look at that as a literal interpretation of the Christian Bible, and that scares the crap out of people that don't believe in the Christian Bible.
