No, there's more to this. The biz journal story cites the sbnation piece as the most relevant rumor but the bbc story is much more relevant. They listed city of London financial sources as their source. Reading between the lines it looks like Everton and Sporting Club had talks, either formal or informal. Sorry but I'm not going to believe that the BBC completely whiffed on this story.

Celtic also lost 3-1. That just surprises me, and i know we have briefly talked about Scottish Football but man I cannot believe that Celtic just rolls over in Europe.

good news for Scottish Football: Rangers have opened up the first 10 games with 10 wins, 30 points, 8 points a top the table, and with a GD of 27. They'll be back in the SPL next season, finally.

Aberdeen is only 2 points behind Celtic through 11 games.
