The Frank Martin experiment is over with.

Does John Currie make a big move and hire Danny Manning? He's a local product and loves the Big 12. I think he's more than ready to lead a team, just look what he's done with the bigs at KU (admittedly I hated the Morrii when they showed up at KU but he turned them into servicable big men).

My guess is that DM wants to stay close to KC since his family has been in Lawrentucky for the past few years and he'd jump at the chance to rebuild this crap program that Frank has run into the ground.

You tell me....but it seems like the writing is on the wall.

If we can't get Lon back for some reason, I know Danny would want us so bad.

Bob Chipman and Steve Henson would be my 3rd and 4th choices for next head coach (respectively).

Would love to see ADJC get one of these guys in time for the Big XII Tourney.

How about one of our other assistants? We have a really dirty one that got in trouble in California and a greaseball who recruits east coast. Both have been with Self for YEARS.

Guessing this is somewhat a facetious post but:

Manning abhors the spotlight, will never be a HC.

Chip is loathed by everyone in Topeka. His players and former players hate him. He's a gambling womanizer.

Henson - no opinion.

Pissclams (aka 'sclams, aka sclammers) is a great poster. People who dont visit goEMAW just dont understand how well those people have mastered the art of message boarding... and Sclams is one of the leaders over there. Love that guy.

Yes, all of those high school prospects were completely developed final products by the time they stepped foot on campus. Manning deserves zero credit for their success at KU.
