amazing what happens when you let the one guy we have that can make shots, make shots. Both of those scores were outside of the framework of the offense.

If Weber gets blamed when the players play poorly (rightly so), he should also get credit when the players play well and get a big-time win.

Just go ahead and jump on board for this season and enjoy the ride, Make It Rain.

 :jerk:

Or, we could blame Weber when things go bad and give no credit when things go well.  Suit yourself, but doesn't seem logical to me.

call the alumni center tomorrow and pledge $500 towards oscar's next contract then

or

recognize this as foster taking over and making a play, in this 1 game

So is Foster still transferring?

Yes. Do you really think the drama with this team is over?

Foster was huge down the stretch, but overall I didn't think he had a great game.  Bad d, foul trouble, and no rebounding.  That is where his focus needs to be moving forward.  He needs to keep grinding, and Weber needs to stay on him to push him in these areas.

No, I'm not saying that Weber deserves contract extension.

I am saying that Weber recruited Foster, so Weber deserves credit Foster's good play.  This board was sure blaming Weber for Foster's previous poor play.

It works both ways is what I am saying.

Also, a lot of you have forgotten about Angel/La Salle.  Of course I haven't read much.
The last play in regulation was almost identical to the end of the LaSalle game, only Marcus did a much better job of making the shot than Angel did.

My thought:

Someone will probably transfer.

It probably won't be Marcus.

I think he's here at least one more season after this one. If he finishes strong this year and has another great year next year he absolutely should at least test the waters.

If he indeed stays all 4 years he will contend for all time scoring and oscar will probably have at least 1 sweet 16. (yes, I really believe that)

If Marcus is good, K-State basketball and oscar will be good.

Yes, its just one game, but last night gave me hope again. I still have plenty of questions about oscar, but really good players make coaches look good and Marcus is a really good player when he does things like he did last night. I think he'll continue to do those things more often than not the rest of the Big 12; it might not be enough to make it to the NCAAs because of the terrible start, but this team will likely finish better than it started.

My money would be on Nigel. Maybe Tre, but I think he knows what his roles is and wants to stay within a P5 confrence. I don't know how many DC assault connections are left in college b-ball, talk about falling off a mountain.

I think most people here excuse an underclassmen having an off game or two.  They don't excuse a coach tossing him under the bus when he doesn't play well.

Rumor around the student union is Foster and oscar aren't getting along and Foster is going to transfer.

Wyatt set oscar up to say nice things about Marcus' performance and he noticeably didn't take the bait. He was more positive later on to other media, but he seems pretty reluctant to offer much praise.

The end of the OU game was as aggressive as I have ever seen Marcus. Still think there is a corner to turn. He hasn't had one of his signature scoring flurries this year yet.

I think steffy made some good points in this thread. We should all give oscar a lot of credit for deciding to give one of the 10 best basketball players to ever suit up for Kansas State University significant minutes in Norman.

i hope his minutes are limited in the tech game.  everyone has to play defense.

I'd rather he just play better defense but maybe that's just me.
