So why wasn't all this cash used on the Gridiron Club (coming 2010)?

Beems needs to chill out.  The crushing weight of our impending Triple Crown is driving him mad with rage.

Its not so bad being dominated by KSU in athletics.  Ask every other school in the Big 12.

In 2010, KU had just finished spending over $100 million on AFH and the surrounding athletic facilities.  Then the ticket scandal surfaced, the football team tanked, and Perkins/Mangino resigned.  Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out why KU cancelled its Gridiron Club project at the time.  Now with the new Rock Chalk Sports Complex set to be finished by next spring, KU will be able to upgrade the football stadium and do it right.

As for the Big 12, KU has nine straight Big 12 titles and has won multiple conference championships in other sports this season as well.  K-State hasn't clinched baseball yet and in basketball we swept your pud little team in three games.  The signing of Wiggins just puts into perspective how small-time and insignificant K-State is compared to big bro.  You guys will be lucky to sign a 4-star prospect with Weber at the helm.  Enjoy backing into the co-championship now, because this is as good as it's going to get for K-State athletics.

Winning in a crippled, 10-team Big 12 = as good as it gets for K-State athletics.  Celebrate good times, c'mon!

Getting smoked by Oregon in the Fiesta Bowl and losing to LaSalle in the first round of the NCAA tourney must have been like a dream come true.

KU has three Big 12 titles already this year:  Men's basketball, indoor track & field, and outdoor track & field.  K-State can tie us with three this weekend if the baseball team beats OU.  Gotta admit, fellas... it feels good having the best all-around athletes in the Big 12.

So the poorest school in the Big 12 with zero national titles in any team sport is an "alpha?"  Thanks for the laughs.

This doesn't even make sense.  You're in denial if you think that KU and K-State handle their books the same way.

I wasn't just referring to 2012 cash and K-State's ability to manipulate their accounting books.

that's the cash you have..........period.........lol at you acting as if there is some 2008 cash in an overseas account.

The Williams Fund and the Endowment Association are different entities than the athletic department.

So is the Ahearn Fund and the Barrett Endowment Society .............now, what are we going to do about your AD statement of financial position ?

KU allocates cash differently than K-State.  Has nothing to do with who is in a better financial position.  The number to look at is total athletic revenue, and KU has, and always will, generate more revenue than the little ag school on the prairie.

Do you know what revenue is Beems?

You can have billions of dollars in revenue and still lose money out your ass.

KU/The federal government are poster child examples.

A company with 20mil/revenue can post higher profits than a company with a billion. It's pretty obvious accounting is a completely foreign concept to you.

What did KU give you a degree in? Sociology?

We'll take two more Big 12 titles to add to our massive collection.  It's an embarrassment of riches in Lawrence right now.
