“We did talk to them, but they don’t want to start the series right now,” Weber said. “We had asked them about playing at our place to start and they said, 'No.' Then we looked at maybe going to their place. It just didn’t work out.”

WSU lost a ton of talent, so of course the timing isn’t right.

Can someone give us the ShockerNet cliffs on this one.

I remember in the 90's when WSU was all about playing KU, after about 2 or 3 beatdowns, they weren't all that excited anymore.

Which of course between 2013-2016, we totally thought the timing was right on our side which is why we pursued playing them so badly then.

Ksu offered to give them a bone but they insisted we’d have to travel to garbage Wichita.  We eventually decided we have enough fans who didn’t finish on the podium of life and actually live there so we’d come down but now they scared.
