Bitb also made a bunch of barnes/weber comparisons today and concluded that ksu made a better hire than tenn (if true)

Agree with MIR. Shaka owns VCU and they love him. Why go to Austin and play in the shadow of football?

I bet Shaka thinks UT is a better job than VCU. He seems like a rational human being.

With the Donovan to the NBA possibilities Shaka may be slow playing Texas as I am sure he would rather have Florida.

I think Marshall would be more fun have in the league and the current roster is a better fit.

It's because he hasn't made any final fours since that one and it's how people measure success. It's wrong, but it's what happens.

If I were Texas and I could get anyone, I'd get Brad Stevens. Unfortunately the new normal for Texas does not involve choosing whoever they want. As it is for their peer schools.

this still baffles me. I honestly think this coaching movement is far from over esp if ford gets bought out. i just hope someone sees something in weber that we all know isnt there
