He's saying it isn't natural for non-MD's even now to go to the store and calculate the odds of getting covid, which is reasonable. (TBH most MD's probably don't either - if anything he thinks too highly of his colleagues). But I can see where you're coming from. The thread's still worth a read if you can get past the first tweet

His points are well taken, but mainly they’re just logic based on a couple of stats (efficacy of masks/Pfizer dose 1/dose 2), which should not at all be foreign to really any human being.
