During a KSUMB banquet in 1993 we had an open seat at our table and Bill showed up and sat next to us.
In 2.0 when I started working at the University if Bill would see me in the hallways at Vanier he would always inquire what I was doing, only to feign interest once I started rambling on about wifi or whatever it was I was tackling that day. "I don't know anything about that" he would say on more than one occasion.

1. He did well at Arizona as OC. (top 35 offense his two years).
2. He turned Indiana into a top 20 offense within 2 seasons as OC.
3. He followed that up by turning North Carolina into a top 20 offense within 2 years as OC.
4. He went to North Texas and is on the verge of back to back 9 win seasons for a program that hasn't done much for a long time.
5. Currently has the #54 recruiting class lined up for next year at North Texas.
6. My cool t-shirt design.

I'll talk to the junk I want to talk to sys, rusty, clams, trim, grapefruit, etc., but I'll be damned if I'm going to let ku fans use a bully pulpit to tell us that we should have been happy with a coach .500 in conference with one first four win, eff all of that and eff Sam Mellinger, Nate Bukaty and anyone else trying to "I told you so" to this entire fan base. These ku fans felt not the least bit threatened by oscar Weber but now they want to Lord superiority over my people? Nah, I'm not here for it.
