I like biscuits and gravy, but there really isn't anything you can do to improve upon them. No unusual/neat spins on B&G.

First Watch makes them with Turkey Sausage, and they are still quite good and a bit better for you (less bad).

lib, list top 3 foods where you like the wet component(s) more than the dry component(s)

Oh goodness, that's tough. I can't think of a single one off the top of my head

That's not unusual or neat. Debatable improvement imo.

I agree, not a flavorful improvement at all, but it's definitely a different choice on how you would/could order it, if a place had multiple options.

What about flaky buttermilk biscuits vs those biscuit-esq drop biscuits?

Pancakes - different flavors! Gingerbread and whatnot!
Hashbrowns - Waffle house has like a million different combos of stuff you can do w/ them.
I had eggs benedict awhile back, but replaced the canadian bacon w/ smoked salmon.
Bacon, yeah there isn't much you can do w/ it. I like it when people specify how they want their bacon cooked tho

Hey mom, instead of the regular, shitty biscuits out of a can, do you think you could make real biscuits, that taste better? That would be neat and unusual!

If someone can come up with a b&g ala "Top Chef" where they must make a b&g inspired dish, or make it awesome or w/e, lay it on me.

That's clearly a challenge with dishes that are served beneath gravy. Though, I thought "Chicken Fried Chicken" was the best thing on the Texas Star menu once upon a time.

alternate version of eggs benedict were a spin off, of the regular eggs benedict

Maybe b&g is just an evolution of plain old biscuits for breakfast. If it is, it is the evolutionary end of that species of breakfast food. It won't get any better than that.

A lot of talk about the biscuits, but making real gravy and not some crap from a package is a big deal. IMO. That goes for all gravy though, I can't stand packaged gravy.

The first time I dipped my hash browns in my leftover sausage gravy, my life never went back to the way it was before.

To this day, my ultimate comfort food is hash browns in sausage gravy.  A close second is cold chicken fingers from Dillons dipped in instant mashed potatoes.

I like to crack open an over easy egg on top of b&g. That's not really improving it though.

hamburgers are ok but i kind of don't like them because you can't do anything neat to mix them up. chicken sandwiches are different though. last week i ordered a chicken sandwich but subbed prime rib and oh my god so god.

i like chicken fingers but they are what they are and can't really be made better. for that reason i like tacos. last week i ordered a taco but subbed the taco shell for deep dish and salsa for pizza sauce. i really enjoyed that. thumbs you guys.
