I guess someone forgot to tell them a game was interrupting their drinking party!  I guess home field advantage won't be in the Cat's favor this year.

What can be done to fix this?

Yeah, if we were blowing them out, the students would leave because "we've already won, and it's just not a good game." We play in a real nail-biter, and the students leave because "they just can't watch that crap." I say we just move the students to the corner of the upper deck and give their seats to donors.

we have the worst students in all of D1.  simply put, these guys are terrible and an embarassment to the great state of kansas.  i'm considering moving.

You think the other conferences aren't seeing stuff like that?  I get the Big East would love to have a school with a 3/4 empty and timid student section.

Paterson would have mumped every coed if that is what it took to fill the student section.

They are not getting better every day.  Just talked with Currie and some other folks "in the know."  Pretty sure all student tickets will be voided for the rest of the year...giving them to soldiers.  Should be about the same in terms of crowd noise.

Those douche nozzles were more worried about how beast their purple dumbledore wizard's cap looked on tv than wtf was going on between the hashes.  rough ridin' student section looked like the rough ridin' studio audience from "Let's make a deal!"

Yup, it's pretty embarsssing.  Our student section looks like the rejects from a recent casting of Loserville.

When I was a student we had a couple things called "Optimism" and "Zeal" that could really affect the play on the field and propel our team to victory.

Now?  No zeal.  No optimism.

Football games in the DOD were amazing.  Now they aren't as much fun and that is probably why the students suck comparatively.  Also, walking into Wagner Field with 30 'Stones duct taped to your body is awesome and something to be very proud of.

Now they just get worried about things like the band and yelling at the opponent.

We should just replace the entire student section with an expanded band IMO. Maybe incorporate a strings section to be on call for impromptu proposals.
