Yep! I'm hearing rumors of his agent making multiple appearances in MHK.

Current FBS Coach, check. Winning record, check. Assistant coach of multiple winning programs, check. History of building up a program, check.

I'm not entirely sold yet, but we could do a lot worse.

EDIT: Wacky beat me to it.

I'm not sold on him yet either, but he looks like he could recruit some stud muffins.

When was the last time we had one of those "coaches above/below this line" threads?

I think that KSO thread maybe has misidentified who LittreLL’s agent is.

If we are trying to lock down LittreLL in October, we should fire Gene.

Only way that has any validity is bob stoops is vetting him for a coordinator position

My read is that we have a 79 year old coach at th helm of our most important revenue stream; therefore, our AD is, and probably has been since he started, vetting potential replacements.  That is no disrespect to Snyder or commitment from Taylor, just proactive management.  Hopefully being proactive and well prepared helps when the time comes.

Why in the world would an agent make a personal visit rather than phone/email/text?

I feel like LittreLL is kind of a poor man's Brent who got stuck with Leach and Mike stoops instead of Bob at OU

Yes. Tucks have infuriatingly short memories. It's why, even though every one of Snyder's teams in Snyder 2.0 start off the season incredibly slow/bad-looking, he puts together a string at the end to narrowly squeak us into a bowl game, and suddenly all is forgotten and forgiven in Tuck World. It's just too bad the Big XII doesn't backload our schedule with the heavyweights.

They have short memories accept for when it comes to Prince. "We can't hire from the outside and risk another Prince fiasco!!!!!!"

By all means, we should be looking at and checking the interest of candidates.  Maybe see if they have any full color PDFs outlinging their zeal for life.

This is different from flying in an agent for a mediocre candidate multiple times in October (which I do not believe has actually happened).

If it is true that LittreLL’s agent has met with Taylor, I wouldn’t read too much into it. It is Taylor’s job to plan for the future and LittreLL’s agent’s job is to tirelessly promote LittreLL.  Taylor strikes me as the diligent type, he wants to do his homework before the lesson and study before the test.  I hope it pays off.

Knowing how hard my company recruits, background checks, interviews, etc.  I don’t see anything weird about flying in an agent of LittreLL’s stature to discuss a potential opening... heck we have done more for non management jobs.  Finding the right persons to target is important.  Finding the right person to replace Snyder will be monumental.

disagree completely, there is absolutely zero downside to making a shitty replacement hire for snyder.  source:  what happened last time we replaced snyder

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Fitz put up an article about 30 minutes ago talking about LittreLL.

This means it is definitely not LittreLL.

Donors matter and when it comes to college sports you are either the #1 donor family to Kstate sports or you’re last.
