Not insane at all  . . .

https://twitter.com/sciam/status/1776006058370089330

just so i am fully understanding your position

you have no desire to pursue policies concerned with limiting green house gas emissions or particulate matter

but feel that atomizing sea salt is "insane"

There are currently zero policies in place to limit green house gases?  This is news to tens of millions of people and copious amounts of industry.

When did this happen Lick?

Despite a continually growing GDP, more people, more cars, more planes in the air.  Carbon Dioxide emissions decreased in the United States over a 31 year period 1990 to 2021 (Source EPA)  Apparently that happened by itself with absolutely no policies in place per Lick . . .

Methane emissions decreased 16% 1990 to 2021 (Source EPA) . . . apparently Methane producing industries and processes received virtually no oversight and simply chose to unilaterally decrease emissions on their own accord

Nitrous Oxide Emissions decreased 3% 1990 to 2021 (Source EPA) . . . again, done with virtually no oversight, regulation, policy or law

The only thing to increase is  Fluorinated gases, and I wish you the very best of luck in reducing overall emissions and getting to your Green utopia Lick, without using flourinated gases in the process. There are multiple Fuorinated gases that are already being phased out . . . apparently unilaterally with no government involvement, per Lick.

Now that Lick #triggered #deflectocon theater is over, anything at all to say about the Scientific American article?

I understand that there are policies in place.

I don't believe I have ever heard you speak in support of them.

stalkerbot has been here for years with 10's of thousands of posts and yet will never-ever get this place. I'll simply chalk it up to parody posting at this point.

Calling the EPA facetious is an on point description

I actually misread your post, i thought you were (facetiously) suggesting that the O&G methane polluters have had basically no oversight whatsoever and have used incredibly dubious means of "measuring" their methane emissions as the reason for why (reported) numbers have been going down.

So the EPA is lying and has no monitoring capabilities of its own?

Kind of sad for an agency that has a budget of $660K per staff member

Life in one of our #blueanon generational stranglehold states . . . which across every spectrum of business is controlled by large to mega corps.  While piling on regulation and costs that smaller businesses cannot manage or absorb without numerous difficulties.

In March, State Farm General Insurance Company announced plans to non-renew about 72,000 policies in California, impacting property insurance and commercial apartment policies.

Last year, the company also announced it would stop accepting new insurance applications for all business and personal property in California.

Since then, companies like Allstate, Farmers Insurance, and The Hartford insurance have announced similar moves.

California: Natural disasters, regulatory policy, inflation (the last two classified with the soft landing of "other factors")

Florida: Exclusively natural disasters
