Wasn't expecting 2.    :bawl:

I thought it might be more...and I think it will be before this season is over. Of course, they find a way to add more people to Rick's group, so it may even out.

And other group members are still out there...

They should just leave Daryl and run.  Daryl got Glen killed, so even steven.

Though, they should never have left that prison.

Glenn surprised me because they went to such lengths to keep him alive last season.  I would've been disappointed if it was just Abraham after leaving it on that big of a cliffhanger.  Carl, Glenn, Daryl, Maggie, or Michonne had to die after that buildup.

I know the show is gory, but having Glenn sit there for awhile was a bit over the top.

Gut Alexandria of all useful stuff like solar, furniture, finishes, etc,  then take it all to the prison.  Also, are they in Virginia now?   Feel like they should move to Kansas, find a nuke silo, nuke Virginia, and move on.

Team shoulda rebuilt the prison.

Alexandria is a pretty good set up.  Rick and company should be able to rally enough support to take on neagan et al.  They dominated them in that one site.

Also, time for Eugene to get the bullet factory up and going.  Maybe also start an IED factory and deliver a dozen inside the first offering that will blow up when unloaded or something

I am curious to see if Rick can still try to lead his group or if his will was totally broken last night.  He received a silverbacking for the ages.

Also that episode was brutal, straight up torture p0rn.

It seems to me that with the new hilltop friends and such they should be able to garner enough support to draw in the saviors for a battle if they want.

Last season Carol and Morgan met a different group. I think the conflict will be between that group and the saviors. While that happens Rick's group will have to attempt to survive and choose which side to be on with an epic showdown.

It sounds like they are going to keep running this show until no one is watching.  I guess they have also generally followed the comics for the main plot so far, which indicates they will spend at least a season (maybe two) of being subjugated by Negan.

The actor playing Negan is a million times better than the actor who played the Governor.

To be fair, Negan is just a much better character in general.

This is hitting home for me.

Yes. This show's been doing this crap at an increasing rate for a few seasons now.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

So who was the group of people at the end?
They are the people that are going to join Rick in fighting the Saviors.  That's why he was smiling.  He finally found the numbers he has been looking for.
