K-State continues to pursue each new building and project on an individual case basis, rather then trying to bundle (what is really a BGL legacy saving effort) projects into a single mass project that will actually have various components fall under the purview of different operating units of the university once they're completed, like KU has tried to do.
Outside of the boutique basketball dorm that KU athletics tried to get KU housing to finance for them. KU wasn't rejected for a thing, particularly on this new project they are doing that was financed via Wisconsin. The legislature just had questions, and any legislature is going to have questions when a state agency wants to increase its debt load by 76% with the stroke of a pen. This lunacy from Butthurtistan is pure comedy as it was a rush job, because the clock is ticking for BGL and her perfectly pedestrian legacy at KU.
