Very OT: Broken tailbone question

I've had a broken tailbone for almost two years and it's recently gotten worse. The flights to Lubbock were the last straw. I underwent a series of shots that offered temporary relief of lessening effect. The doctor mentioned surgery to actually remove my tailbone but I don't know of anyone who has had that surgery. Has anyone had that done? Any other advice?

tell him to have his tailbone removed. seems like the best option imo.

I imagine that fact that he's about 200 pounds overweight and sitting on his ass a lot probably has something to do with it. Not a doctor tho
