Don't think Watson, Williams, and Lawrence are safe because there is a coaching change. They are just as likely to get Bruced as they were to get Franked. It isn't uncommon for a new coach to let a couple of non-fits go.

I think it's safe to say that even if Angel stays, we need another point guard.

So, I'm just going to be optimistic and assume that the coaches were as mortified by our guard play as most of us were.

His hometown is just 25 miles from Norman, his stated primary reason for leaving Gonzaga is "homesickness", hope he at least gives us a shot.

According to the report linked below from last fall, KSU's previous staff had actually offered Gray, sounds like he's also had some experience playing the 2:

"We started practice not long ago and I am working strictly at point guard now," said Gray, who chose MSU over other offers from Seton Hall, Georgetown, Texas Tech and Kansas State among others. "It's going good, too, and everything is straight. I played off the ball most of last year and we really didn't have a main point guard."

Gray was not previously in the Rivals Top 150 prior to them updating the rankings today, sounds like he really tore it up this year which prompted his rise in the rankings:
