My wife works at Commerce, Phil. Stay away from her parking lot you monster.
The only spot that makes sense for me with a new Kaufman is the River Market. Plenty of space. I've always been surprised there's no much going on there.

Parking lots? Assume you arent implying city market is grodyno not city market. i'm talking between 9th street and 435. just a lot of parking lots and old decrepit vacant buildings. seems like there's a lot of untapped value there considering the proximity to the non-shitty parts of downtown.Yeah the popular theory is that land is being held for Kauffman II.That whole area will look a lot different once the north loop highway is removed (hopefully}.I thought kauffman ii was pegged for southeast downtown? at least in the last proposal i saw. That's the other option. Commerce Bank has held those north loop lots you are talking about for decades...assuming for something big vs. selling them out for redevelopment which they could easily do in the current market.
