No, not really. All this on the 25 year back drop of "once we finally do this it'll be no problem getting it paid for" . . . and of course had they even done this 5 years ago, it would have cost them about $100 million dollars less. Had they done the right thing, and just stripped historic KUMS to the studs and gone from there, it would have cost them a lot less.

Executing the Dax Plan for KUMS 5 or 6 years ago costs $200 million dollars and gives them a stadium that's in keeping with the primary architecture on their campus.  While creating all new amenities in the stadium itself.

New rumblings . . . subs not getting paid, complete crap show (read further - pun intentional) from a project management perspective and . . . with the addition of the hotel, inadequate flow studies for the sewer system. Are we headed straight into KU Memorial - Piss Rivers Part II? Stay tuned. 

Edit - This project may reach new pinnacles of value engineering.

A rush project - in order to satisfy a slightly above mediocre football coach.

Yeah, there are rumblings coming from various contractors that KU hasn't been/unable to make payments for various services. I'm not sure how much weight to give it considering the sources, but I think it's a little early to actually be believing they are running out of money.

I know the stadium project isn't being managed well, but I wouldn't think those type of issues would show up until Q4 of this year.

I don't believe what I am talking about has to do with construction.

OU Before/After Pete: 12 post season appearances in 14 seasons, 2 CWS appearances, CWS runner-up. During Pete, 1 post season in 4 years.

The Royals are white hot, which is great. Tied for best start ever at 50 games.

Last night there were 25,000 empty seats there to witness the white hot Royals and Bobby Baseball hit two taters
