I highly suggest Manhattan. Great place with good-looking, great smelling people.

this seems like a pretty good idea, actually.  i would be much closer to a legit & non-losery ksu campus

Any major city in the US should be fine. Do you plan on working in a particular industry for a while? Maybe find a city with a high concentration of your industry's job. Set up a national indeed.com search and you can get a good feel for where those cities are.

Omaha, not just saying that because I live here.  Other than most of you guys not living here and having to drive 3 hours to watch the ksu cats it's pretty much perfect.

I can't think of anything better than living on the border of nebraska and iowa.

no pro sports, and not a lot of concert options (although it is at least as good as KC w/ concerts).

You should have bought my place in DC. There's a ton of defense contracts for software developers. Also, I should have mentioned that.

Have them call ahead with a carry out order and show up at tobias' house.  What is he going to do?  Turn down scheme pizza already at his door?

Renting blows. I have to do it right now just to stay flexible but once I'm settled I'm going to buy in like 10 seconds.  Thin walls, can't have a dog, throwing away money, etc.

you're not throwing away money because like you said, it keeps you flexible. also just rent a place w/ thicker walls that allows you to have dogs. doesn't seem that hard.
