Guys, I think we go undefeated then lose the Big 12 Championship to a dark horse Big 12 team, then lose our first game in the CFB playoffs. Eerily similar to 1998.
I hate to be a Debbie downer, but I don’t think the Big 12 will be a lock to get a 1 loss conference CCG loser into the playoff.

TCU was a literal lock before we beat their ass in the Dr pepper and that with the 4 game playoff.

A 12-1 Big12 team with their only loss being in the Dr pepper will be in the 12 team playoff.

I have an Xbox 1? (Maybe, bought in 2014) That I rarely play anymore and I am seriously considering upgrading to a newer Xbox just so I can buy this game and relive the glory days.

What is the difference between an Xbox X or S series?

Y'ALL

I saw something about it on Twitter earlier but the name didn't click. I just thought it was some random politician not the former ISU player who refused to fly in planes.

We live in interesting times.

I cut down 1.5 dead trees in the windbreak and hauled them all back to the house using this cute little cart.

The key is to cut up all the wood in the morning when it's cooler then you can just drink beer and chill and stack up/move all the wood wearing more comfortable clothes in the afternoon.

Unlike forest cows the Great plains variety Of cattle are very docile.

Wheat field from the windmill road behind the cat ranch.

Is this something the kids are doing these days?

We just can't shake branding ourselves like the Dallas Cowboys.

I've never seen this in the wild and it was sent to my from a buddy who lives in Dallas so its starting to make sense now.

If KU makes the CFP and gets to host a game where would they play it? Chiefs have a home game the same day as the first round of the CFP.

Sporting? Do we let them borrow BSFS while we enjoy our bye?

I could care less about what butker thinks regarding women/etc as long as he keeps kicking the ball through the uprights. He's a kook and always has been but he does his random job well.

If you ask a random NFL fan to name 10 players on the chefs I doubt his name would come up even though he has been here for all 3 Superbowls and is really good at his job.

If that was Mahomes or Kelce saying it then yeah, maybe I would care.

(found 3 other dead kittens in various stages of decay in the garage so mama cat popped out at least nine lil uns)

One of our cats just recently had 7! 7! 7 freaking kittens. I thought more than likely it would be 3 or so. Not 7!

Last time I was at the cat ranch I saw 4 of the 6 cats my dad dropped off a couple of months ago.

Two of them were (makes circle with one hand, puts finger through circle with other) out on the driveway one evening so hopefully some kittens are coming our way soon.

Blessed be the fruit.

whoa.  that's a pretty amazing stonewall for kansas.
That wall runs a half mile between quarters.  I got to hand it to my neighbor he has made a real effort to put rocks back on top of that, cleaned trees, maintained it.  I desecrated my half punching a whole thru it for a gate when we bought an adjacent 40.

I will have to do a rock wall tour one of these times, including the hole where all of that rock was quarried.  My dad and fellow farmer always said a good man could quarry and lay a rod (16.5 ft) of rock wall in a day.

It's amazing how much rock is in those walls.  We've scalped rock off a couple for flower beds, and fill the pick up bed and it looks like you barely made a dent.

It seems like the cows could pretty easily jump that stone wall. Does that happen or do the cows just say "Meh, got plenty of sweet sweet flint hills grass over on my side".

I narrowly avoided death by the hoof of Wyoming forest cows last summer.

Luckily I was in a car and could drive away before I was trampled and eaten.

Juggalo cow makes an appearance at 33 seconds and then just stares him down.

Poor cows just saw a human and thought they were getting some tasty treats. Lol at the guy freaking out.

These mini cattle intrigue me.

Like, what is their purpose??

If I had a hobby farm and eff around money I'd put a couple on there depending how much they cost. My uncle is an IRL full time farmer/rancher and had like 5 mini ponies (They have made an appearance in this thread) that he just moved around small pens to eat weeds (Old pig pen/random 5 acre pen/junkyard). I think he originally had them to pull little carriages in parades when his kids were little and then they just hung around.

Also can't you get some tax exemptions if the land is classified as "Farmland"? Throw a couple of these bad boi's on there and all of a sudden your land is a "farm" and taxed less?

IIRC a while back in this thread SD had a good rant about these mini cattle. Something to the effect of "We've spent hundreds of years and TONS of money making cows bigger and bigger and NOW YOUR GOING TO UNDO ALL THAT?"

10-2 or 11-1.

I'm rooting for us to lose to Arizona in our OOC game then finish higher then them in the Big12 standings by 1 game and go to the Dr pepper while they watch at home.

Bonus points if we finish tied with the same conference record but win the conference tie breakers to go over them.

Harvested the last of my radishes tonight, tossed them in olive oil/salt/pepper etc and grilled them with some kielbasa sausage for a quick boi dinner. Sides of mustard and horseradish for dipping.

Class - "The History of the OG Big 12"

Teacher - ben ji

Course Description - Coming off it's greatest season ever where half the conference finished ranked in the top 10 in 1996 the Big 8 merged with 4 Texas Schools from the now defunct Southwestern Conference to create a new Conference called the "Big 12". Over the next 15 years 3 teams would win national championships and dominance would flip from the "Northern" schools to the "Southern" schools.

In the 2000's Nebraska, the king of the "North" suffered the indignity of losing to schools they had dominated for decades while Missouri and Colorado searched to find an identity. These catalyst combined with Texas A&M's desire for attention doomed the greatest conference ever created.

Crashee Rice is playing GTA IRL. I expect the next article to be him shaking down a hooker for cash.
