Can someone recommend a plumber/handyman in the KC area for a relatively simple job? Just need the faucet in my kitchen sink replaced but I can't get the job done because I'm a beta city boi. I've replaced a bathroom faucet but this one may need to be sawed off since the "Anchors" that secure the faucet to the sink are "sealed" or something..cant get em off.
Vielhauer plumbing has been my go to for quite some time. They get to us quick and are inexpensive.
I redid my master bath a few years ago and didn’t want to mess with setting my own shower base. I have another plumber I have worked with a lot as well. I had both bid the job and Vielhauer was half the price and did great. They have done quite a bit of small stuff for me. 10/10
Noted! I need some small crap done like flip where the disposal is and the hot/cold are the wrong way so just going to buy a new kitchen faucet and have them do all that at once.
Fox and pearl brunch is back and it's magnificent
Had this again yesterday and every body at the table loved it. They do annoying things there though. Someone wanted ketchup for their breakfast potatoes and they said they don't have ketchup. Like wtf have ketchup dorks. They serve fries.
Second we split their potted cheese which didn't come with enough bread, so got more and charged 5 bucks for a side of bread. I mean come on, that's a third of the dish price.
Still great place I'll recommend to everybody and will go back just dumb restaurant things imo
Is this the BBQ brunch thing or something else?
lol what does this even mean?also, ponaks was the very first establishment to put boulevard beer on tap. it was and still is, their pale ale.
Pale ale isn't an IPA but yeah they were first

A lot of you owe Ponaks an apology

Ponaks is what all the boomers remember going to the boulevard to have margs and tacos in the 70's and 80's and it was THE GOOD STUFF.
Manny's is kind of the same.
I'm going to try Ponaks today for lunch
Travis got a song in the new album I hear
I'm going to Portland, Maine and Boston over Memorial Day. Taking Amtrak between the two.
I’m going next weekend for the 4th time since June.
all work, all fun? i scrapped March Maddness after the cats failed to make it into the dance. Going in a month for work, excited to see Fountainbleau finally open
All fun. I found a betting slip I put on the Chiefs from last June for $750 that I completely forgot about, so have fun money waiting for me when I get there.

I really want to make it to Rome but I think it will be too rushed. I'm leaning towards adding another day or two in Paris (very much enjoying the vibe here) and a stop or two in a smaller French or Spanish city.
I must be dead inside. I visited the Grand Canyon with my wife during our Fiesta Bowl trip of 2013, and I thought it was neat, but didn’t exactly have a spiritual moment. I’m in the path today and will be jacked up for my son, but not overly excited in all honesty. Should I look into prozac?
Oh man, you and I are similar. We have friends that love to road trip and go see all of this stuff. Grand Canyon, Mount Rushmore, etc. All I ever think about is being in a car for like 12 hours and pulling up to Mount Rushmore, getting out, looking at it for like 30 seconds, and then getting back in the car going "well that was pretty neat". Same with a giant hole in the ground. Not my jam.
The skies have cleared up for me. Will be heading up to the deck to enjoy mimosas and tacos soon.
