My boss told me he was surprised I came in this morning, and wouldn't have held it against me if I didn't. Felt good, but also like a missed opportunity

denied. 8man has now shown his boss that he's dependable and not a lush.  his boss will now expect him to be there and rely on him while the losers are on the couch unable to make it in.

Not only that, when 8manpikboss gets all sorts of Fireball roasted he's thinking "man I could use a hangover day, but nope I know 8manpik is showing up, and that candy ass has been pining for my job since he got here.  Best that the shark reminds the guppies they still guppies.  Hail fuckin state!  [/cowbell]"

Was having a talk with a good buddy, asked him (while we were both hungover of course) if he ever has deep feelings of regret, worry, anxiety, when hungover.  We didn't even do anything wrong, pretty chill night, but for some reason I felt bad about it, like I was a bad person having indulged myself.  He tells me it's a normal reaction when hungover.  So that made me feel better.  Don't know why it took me so long to know that.  Anyway I hope this little tid bit helps the posters of this thread realize that "You are not a bad person just because you got super mumped up last night.  There's a scientific reason you feel this way.  So get over it, you're fine."

My anxiety is off the charts after drinking. I have stopped during work weeks now. Probably for the best. However, two day hangovers from saturday still have me anxious.  :frown: Bad genes and stuff.
