I don't like chocolate ale and I love literally anything and everything from KC, out of principal.  Is something wrong with me?

True story alert: like 4 years ago my roommate and I were at Classic's getting some booze for the weekend, while we were in there the booze guy walked in with some 8 Chocolate Ale's, my roommate knew they were rare and so we asked the guy working, he said that people from KC had been calling him asking if he had any in stock. the delivery guy left and we decided right then and there that we were going to buy some. bought it and then went to the little apple liquor store(the one across from west loop rays and the new powercat grill) and asked them if they had any of the ale. they laughed in our rough ridin' faces and said "yeah right" i wish because everyone is asking about it. we left with  :D on our faces, i ended up drinking mine but my roommate being the craigslist/ebay stud he is sold his for $75 when we had bought then for like $15. it was ok to drink but i probably wouldnt ever buy it again.

They doubled the batch of chocolate ale this year and I think the excitement has worn off a bit compared to two years ago.  You shouldn't have trouble finding some, but liquor stores might limit to one or two per person.  I'm sad because they are brewing this instead of the Coffee Ale.

It's sold out at most places.  I picked up one bottle this year and honestly that's enough for me.  Yes, the Coffee Ale was great.   :frown:

Is it really that great? Seems like people are super excited for it.

I don't like it but I don't have the taste buds of ERII. Worth a try I suppose...

did the book have even 1 page dedicated to dwarves washing dishes? I doubt it.

Lagunita's has a great coffee brew fyi.  :lick:
Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

I'm looking for a "treat yo-self" beer, maybe a bomber of sorts.  I like most styles, but I prefer IPAs stouts and Belgians.  Anybody got any suggestions?
