Although as quick as he responded makes me wonder if I did not hit a nerve. Like they did give out names during the Terry days and he got worried. LOL I don't believe it for a second as I don't believe Fitz or staff gave out names but was interesting.  :popcorn:

anyone have a full list of usernames that are known moles for KSUAD. We know Trim is but any others. I suspect DAX really is, I suspect the whole losing his association with KSUAD under Tim was just to dig him in deeper in to the rebel BBS community.

Also how great would it be if the athletic department wasn't getting the info from fitz for the purposes of identifying certain posters, but to get the subscriber list to jump-start Janssen's e-mail newsletter thing?

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't Jack Vanier a shareholder in Spirit Street?

Seems to me that Fitz can probably claim that HE personally hasn't given subscriber info, but it doesn't me someone else at Spirit Street has.

If Jack Vanier says "send Bill the name of that poster," then it happens.

The reason the whole name dropping thing by Fitz and company is BS is because there are many posters that drop info that our outside of the AD's grasps that have never been shut up. Poster like KSU34, who talks to players all the time via facebook and twitter and a house parties, they had to clamp his info stream by almost going public and telling him to stop bugging the players (remember Snyder's presser when he talked about social media and how some people were good at getting info from his players). The could have named dropped him but did not. DAX was dropped because of what he posted but that was not on Fitz's site if I remember correctly. I thought it was what he posted on Fan but of course everyone knows who DAX is.

The AD is not the freaking police nor is is illegal to post information about KSU athletics on a website.  I don't know KSU34 but I'm pretty sure he doesn't work for the AD.  If they had his name what could they have done to stop him?   I'm pretty sure the fitz giving out names thing is an effort to catch people on the inside giving out info not to catch facebook stalkers.  You handle that by telling the players not to give out information on facebook which is what they did.
