Also, Little Fires Everywhere...just finished watching that. Only 8 epis. Very intense, lots of cringey moments but part of what made it cringey is b/c you know that some of those sentiments were (are) sincerely felt by a lot of well-meaning but still very priviledged, insulated and otherwise ignorant white people. Reese Witherspoon's character felt very similar to her character on Big Little Lies, but i think she plays that role really well. Kerri Washington was pretty good but there were a lot of aspects of her character that I didn't like and made her un-sympathetic. Mrs BAC read the book and said that her character was a lot more sympathetic in the book. overall 5.5/7
