So yes, murder is murder, but your example isn't murder since it would likely be lawful self defense.

Again, I dont care about abortion, but if you are against it but for exceptions for rape/incest victims then you probably arent as against it as you think.

I dont know anyone under the age of 40 that watches racing, but this morning my boss had nascar radio on xm in his truck and the redneck callers seemed to be very supportive of this young lady.

Also, from what I gathered, this is like the college race, the real one is tomorrow.  Could be wrong on this one tho.

I've always been confused about incest/rape being exceptions, abortion is abortion.  That's like stealing isn't legal except food to survive.

I don't think many people care if it is called marriage.  I think the care is re: the diff in rights that a married couple has vs a couple in a civil union.  Inheritance, insurance coverage, etc. 

Call it whatevs, just make all the rights the same.

This is exactly the opposite.  Most of those that oppose gay marriage have no problem with them having the exact same rights, they oppose calling it "marriage".   Seems pretty ridiculous either way.

Get rid of all marriages, call everything civil unions....   bigger shitstorm?

Anyone catch a preview for the new NBC show "Awake"? Looks pretty entertaining.

it looks entertaining. They did a good job with the preview/song.

Can pretty much guarantee that it will make my wife cry.  That said, the premise is pretty cool.  It has potential.....potential to be too awesome and require too much thought, the combo of which will ultimately require that they hurry up and finish the story in the last three epi's since the tv viewing public will demand that it be cancelled. 

People hate tv that reminds them that they aren't intelligent enough to follow a decent story line.  I mean, what is more hurtful to the psyche, having to say "I don't get it" a bunch, or getting to bitch about why your favorite never-has-been model was voted off the island?

Pretty much exactly what I thought when I saw the previews.... awesome concept, but I have no faith that a network will do anything with it.  Would be super excited if it was on amc or hbo instead.

An old roommate and I made them once, you can get everything at hobby lobby.  You can make your own designs or put something cool in the middle that you can see through the glass,  so I understand the allure.  No near disasters though.

Usually in a basket in the living room.  Dirty clothes get thrown in the bedroom though the doorway.  My work clothes dont need to be hung up, so its mostly laziness of not putting them in the dresser.

Im a lazy slob when there is no girl in my life, girls change everything.

I have a slight preference to live alone, but roommates can be fun too.

Recently I've watched a few of what I like to call extreme korean revenge movies. If you don't mind gore they can be pretty incredible. "I Saw the Devil" was really compelling. "The Man from Nowhere" was much less gory and had awesome action.

Its a few years old, and japanese, but id suggest itchi the killer to you.  Its my favorite from that style of movies.

Never close the bathroom door, sleep with the bedroom door closed to keep the dog from roaming, otherwise I'd leave it open.  Regularly sleep on the couch and dont even enter the bedroom for days at a time.
