Trump won't pardon Snowden, there's nothing in it for him.

Of course MAGA would want for a rapid withdraw of troops instead of a graduated withdraw like the intelligence community has recommended, they don't care about destabilizing the middle east. Let them all kill each other, amirite?

My understanding is that accepting a pardon is an admission of guilt. So Rudy would be admitting to a crime he already committed and Trump would then pardon him from that crime before charges are filed. It's dumb, but I'm not sure how inconsistent it is with other pardons. Pardons shouldn't exist.

I kind of appreciate that they exist, but I can’t think of any policy reason to allow them to happen before a conviction. Seems like a total usurpation of the judiciary.

I also do kind of wish pardons were subject to like a 2/3 congressional veto or something just to be safe.
