Dax has gone from someone I disagreed with but respected to a total shill incapable of honest commentary or reflection.

no.  he's always been like that.

Turkey is a giant mess and I am not sure US armaments will keep Erdogan loyal to our interests.

Huge decsions wait ahead for both Erdogan and the US concerning the Kurdish situation.  A crackdown or escalation of violence against the PKK will constitute a fork in the road and frankly the Kurds have been a far better Ally to the US as of late.

There couldn't be a worse time to bow up on Erdogan, albeit he probably deserves it.   Senior Turkish officials and the general public were pretty resolute in their belief that Obama and Kerry were behind the coup attempt.  Best to try and reel them back in and try and deal with them and the Kurdish issue, pushing them is likely only going to make them more resolute to deal with the PKK on their own and harshly.

SB, would you like to join Lick and I in discussing the situation in Turkey?    Or are you just going to be a LibBot7 clone?

It's pretty sad to think that you're so partisan and apparently extremely defensive that you can't recognize that specific events that occurred during the previous administration impact our relationship etc. etc. with Turkey today.

The past matters, I don't get why that makes LibBots so angry.

Great day of watching the LibBot Nation meltdown (again).   Looking forward to the next NeoCon that LibBot Nation saddles up with.

We stand up to dicators when we don't need them anymore.  In many cases, after we installed them into power.

Thanks for the   as always sysBot.

I expect everyone of you KC'rs who've been burning the midnight oil down here for the past 3 years to be there and do the right thing and protest. You owe it to yourselves.

Uggh...I walked by some protestors firing each other up today....can't imagine getting into that life.

If his motorcade comes though when I'm around I'll definitely stop and watch...that's always an impressive thing to see.

Yeah, I was downtown for one of those. Was it a debate or something? I can't even remember. Obama in 2016? Would that make sense? Pretty cool.

Good a place as any.  The growing Biden talk.

I generally like Groping Joe besides the weird dirty old man part.

But as I’ve alluded to before.  Joe is like a huge NeoCon.  Almost McCain’ian in not seeing a war he didn’t want.  Pom Pom waver for taking out Saddam, and one of Hillary’s hard chargers in the “we will bring them to heel” movement, which is inherently anti minority (okay, racist).

But the New NeoCon doesn’t care about that.

Joe Biden is far too old to have any sort of important job.

yes, much too ripe. until medical technology fixes the deterioration of brains there should be a cap of 55 yo to be president imo. like carousel for politicians.
