Shopping with an 18 year old this weekend. She finds a moose head shot glass. I asked if she knew what that was from? No. Does she know who Chevy Chase is? No. And she pronounced it like the car even after I had said his name.

I have ridiculous pain in my heel. I'm thinking plantar fasciitis. Headed to the doctor today to figure this out.

I would say her parents didn't do a very good job of raising her.

Confirmed. I'll live. I probably should do the exercises and rolling on stuff.

Do yourself a favor and go straight for the needle. It hurt like hell but none of that rolling stuff or any of the two months of electro therapy made a dent. I had no idea just how bad I was hurting until about two days after the shot and then I felt like a million bucks.

Double old score.  Plantar fasciitis and used phrase 'felt like a million bucks.'

How do you get the needle? The PA I saw didn't even mention that. Just exercises, in soles, and new shoes.

I got referred out to a podiatrist who made me go through PT first. On follow-up, I said the PT, stretching, etc. didn't help at all. She then explained the next steps and asked if I'd want the steroid. I said yes. It's not 100% but far better than before. It's been about four months since I got the shot and it still feels pretty good even after getting back to running. I can go and get it again if/when the pain ramps back up. The next most invasive step is to do platelet therapy.

On a triple and quadruple sign of getting old, I got a couple sets of awesome custom fit orthotic inserts out of the deal and I recently sprained my hip. :cyclist:

Well she's never seen any Star Wars movie, so you might be right. But also my mom has never seen any Star Wars movie even though she owns the original trilogy (someone gave to her).

Insoles should be temporary. Focus on strengthening the calf and foot.

also now people can see me and know that it is possible to break my bones.

I don't like revealing such a devastating weakness.
