The Irish have some similarities to us in that they drink excessively and fight constantly. But also some differences in that they fornicate with their own relatives. 2 similarities and 1 difference!

rumblings that k-state is going to play notre dame in ireland

matching up the top two most recognizable college football teams in one game is marketing genius.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Scuttlebutt is the Irish were clamoring for this matchup but K-State was playing hard-to-get

This makes sense.  The Irish have to play in Ireland to get even a slight chance of victory.

It will be interesting to see if the fake Irish are welcome and/or cheered in Ireland.  If some team from Ireland called themselves the Americans, we would probably boo the crap out of them and throw fast food trash on them as they played.

is there a stadium big enough to host the kats?

This place is absolutely massive. Seats 82,000 and has a pitch that is 150 yards long by 90 yards wide:

Yes! This is something I enjoy that most Americans never think about. There is American-themed crap in other countries, and it's always hilarious.

I went to an "American" restaurant in Switzerland, and if I can figure out how to upload the Snapchats, it would be a joy for some of you.

How can we play a potential home game in Ireland when our small businesses in Manhattan are still working off the chapter 11 they had to file when the Stanford game got moved to Dallas?

There was an Americafest festival in Frankfurt when we were there. It was just some old country music & people dressed up like Woody from Toy Story.

That's exactly the kind of stuff I'm talking about. I walked into this restaurant with a backlit sign of the space shuttle, a bald eagle, and a generic American football player, and the first kitschy sign I saw read "Please scrape crap from boots!" Mind you, these people speak Swiss German. I'll figure out how to export the Snapchats. The menu was hilarious.

How accurate is the depiction of an American restaurant in Arrested Development? Do they give out stacks of onion rings?

Yes, I love American style restaurants and they are always terrible. I went to an "American style cheeseburgers" place in Newcastle. Awful burgers but it had like 4.5 stars
