By the way, I still detest everybody that refers to him as "OB". You know deep down in your heart of hearts that it's wrong.
Setting aside the obvious, but hilarious, point that his balls are indeed old, he's earned the nickname through his own incompetence.
2003, we just won the Big 12 championship. Get out on the road and recruit? Nope. Keep ALL the assistant coaches at home coaching 'em up.
Kids across the country are catching on to this new wave of "texting" and "emailing." Do our assistant coaches do it? Nope. Specifically prohibited from doing it by OB.
Recruiting is obviously dropping off, and the team is playing undisciplined. Fire the failing AC's? Nope. Refuse to ever fire anyone, and keep them forever. After all, OB doesn't ever make mistakes on hiring.
Attempt to play Big 12 games with the likes of Dillon Meier, Allen Evridge, and Carson Coffman as your quarterback? Yep.
However, I do appreciate that he's still old school about discipline, in that Bill always lets them play.
