Guessing they want him to play WR since they picked him up in response to losing 2 of their starting 3 receivers.

I saw Zimmerman is projected by most to go in the 3-4 round, and is considered the 3rd best free safety going out. Hopefully his injury doesn't scare everyone off.

Our o-linemen have fallen off the radar of most mock drafts. :frown:

Hubert is the 29th best RB (in terms of NFL prospect) that is a senior this year! Sims is #28! :TSC:

I think it's all on Zimmerman's shoulders to keep our draft streak alive.

season ending injuries in back to back years probably doesn't bode well for our guy Ty and that makes me sad.

Last summer I interned at a firm that brought Lucas in to talk about what to do with his NFL money.

I think we're going to have to adjust our plans with him  :frown:

I agree with this. One of our seniors will likely exceed expectations at the combine/pro day: here's the crop

Triple T
Rooks
Reed
Miller
McDonald
Lucas
Cooper
Daily
Krause

I think at least ONE of those guys gets drafted before the whole thing is over. It may be a nail-biter, but one of them is getting drafted. More than a couple are going to get picked up as free agents (at least practice squad guys).
I'm in it purely for the entertainment value.

so i wrote and deleted like 5 posts about mueller here before coming to the conclusion that he has no chance of being drafted but may get an undrafted free agent shot at linebacker if he adds some speed by pro day

yup drafted as a LB.

good comparo size wise, not about athleticism though.

i think its possible with a good proday/combine and good bowl game showing.

Holy crap 1 MORE YEAR!!!! what a blessing!

Luckily they just change this thread title each year.

also this says some things about my condition during the senior day ceremony. But I had pretty much convinced myself all season that he was a senior.

Some updates on the 2013 class

The Salina Bombers' defensive line will have a strong Kansas State flavor in 2014. Meshak Williams and Adam Davis, the Wildcats' starting defensive ends during the 2012 season, have signed with the Bombers. The Bombers previously announced the signing of former K-State defensive back Jarard Milo.

http://www.cpifl.org/newsDetail.cfm?id=222

The most productive NFL rookie from KSU in 2013 was..........Justin Tuggle?

But his production was basically = to that of Arthur Brown...Tuggle logged one more GP than Brown, they both recorded 1 FF, and Brown gor a .5 sack added to his career stat line.

Harper logged 4 total GP in 2013, all with his 3rd team (GB), and all as a Special Teamer. He may have ran a couple of routes, as GB was really thin at WR with injuries to Cobb & Jones, but Aaron Rodgers said he was literally introduced to Chris Harper right before warmups in the Cleveland game. GB saw something they like though, as their claim of Harper was their first waiver claim in 2 years.

Also, there is this nugget...the card pictured below is one of the Arthur Brown Rookie Cards produced by Upper Deck (who is the only trading card company licensed to produce cards w/ NCAA logos)...see anything wrong with ol' Arthur?

   :excited:
