Despite Kansas St being on list, Im confident it will be Kansas or Kentucky for LaGerald Vick. Toss up right now.

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

Its been chapping my butt all day.  Why are the greedy blueblood bastards going after Vick?  They hoard all of the big shot recruits, but no that ain't enough.  Leave our meat alone!!!!

I think Mixed Nutz mentioned it earlier, but Alvin is really good friends with the guy who recruited Vick to SMU, Ulric Maligi. He got into some NCAA trouble at SMU and has stepped away from the program. When that happened Vick decommitted from SMU.

Alvin must know where Maligi buried the bodies.

No but could end up being the best Score available. Alvin has some pretty good connections, he is also really good when he gets kid on a visit.

"Welcome to K-State, Mr. Vick. We're excited to have you here. We've got a big day planned out for you. Before we get started, can you blow in this as hard as you can? Great. Thank you! Now follow the receptionist to the criminal justice department for a screening and we'll get on our way!"- K-State Athletic Department

Good for B Ro. If we're saving that scholarship for '16 anyways then it makes sense to give one to our starting PG. Win win IMO.

It just means we have struck out on any other targets, so giving one to Rohlender, and saving one for next year......??

We are being selective. We mushed Sammy Barnes-Thompkins, we had a official setup with him and decided to go different ways. I wonder at what time Alvin got tipped off about Vick. We might have been recruiting him for sometime now. If I were Ulric Maligi I would be pissed at Larry Brown and redirect Vick away from any of his boys (Cal and Self).

If we were smart we would find a operation spot for Ulric Maligi. But Currie is a coward.

From GRCOAT to granting Vulture a scholarship.  The circle back to irrelevance is officially complete.
