Everyone wants Danny Kaspar from SFA. He's been consistently good with them and SFA didn't exactly have a great run of success before him. The problem is our program isn't that much better than theirs in terms of intangibles (the stadium and facilities are slightly nicer, conference is better, salary is a wild card) and on the court we've sucked ass since 1996 so we'd have to make it rain to lure him.

Another name being thrown around is Russell Springman, Texas asst. coach, aka the guy the recruited Durant, Augustin, and Damion James. Doesn't have a great HC resume (light on experience) but we can't be picky.

A couple of names thrown against the wall by our rivals site are Billy Gillispie since he used to work at Texas State and.....drumroll....DOC!

Yeah, I'd be pretty excited if we got him. The scuttlebutt up in Austin is that he's been waiting for this opening for a while, but who knows how true that is or not.

I live close to Columbia (COMO is awful) what rumblings I hear from MU diehards (Tiger Tards all over)
1. Haith not long term
2. Coach to replace him has been targeted
3. Targeted coach is Dana Altman, whose family misses the midwest (Oregon to Columbia a shitty trade)
